Title: EagleEye and Cold
Post by: al smith on December 16, 2005, 09:09:28 PM
I have a TM751, Socket Rocket and
EagleEye.  EagleEye set for dusk/dawn
operation, 1 minute delay.

Outside temperature about 37 degrees.

EagleEye will send the On code.  But will
not send the off code.

If I move the EagleEye indoors, in a dark
kitchen or bedroom, it will work fine (on
and off).

Any ideas would be appreciated.

37 isn't too cold [though I believe X10 uses
parts reated at 32 degrees F], but are you
using good batteries? If it was real cold
many have used Lithium [yes not cheap] ones
with better results. I have seen messages
from people in Canada where it is way below
zero using Lithiums with sucess.
