Title: Switches respond to ON but not OFF
Post by: jon on January 07, 2006, 01:22:23 PM
New to this stuff.  Switches work correctly
by pressing their buttons (both on and
off), but only respond to ON commands, not
OFF.  A separate lamp module works
properly, so I assume commands are being
sent by the control unit.

Ideas?

I am having the same exact problem.
If a lamp that will not work with the module is plugged in it
will not work at all right?  Also the lamps I am using are
home made I was thinking the module maybe has a problem
with the socket I am using.  But it will turn it on.

Regular type bulbs? Other types like CFLs
maybe making too much line noise when ON and
masking the Off signal from the controller.

I switched the light sockets I was using and now it is working
fine.  So my problem was not with the modules.
