Title: RMS18 goofies

I had a RMS18 motion sensor operate a room
wall switch, but now it triggers the switch
on the active home pro software but not the
light. I can repetably operate the switch
to turn the light on-off ok, and verified
it's operation from the AHP software with
no problems but the motion sensor just
triggers the software switch indicator and
not the wall switch.
I'm confused?

Go into Tools; Hardware Configuration;
Tranceived House Codes and doube check that
the motion sensors house coded didn't get
set to not be tranceived.

It is all a matter of where the noise is on
the A.C. line and where the two receivers
are. Move the one that is not working to
the other location and try it. Some of the
lamp modules generate noise on the line
when they are active and cause others to
not work when they are on. If you don't
have a line meter get one. It helps to
understand your problems. without the
proper test meter you will pull out your
hair. Chuck
