Can the x10 products be used (controlled)
by an outside rs232 device
(Xantech,crestron)

Good question! Such a good question, that I
had to get the answer from our talented tech
department:

The device would have to be designed to
transmit X10 powerline carrier commands. We
offer the PL513 powerline interface for
engineers and programmers. Those users would
then take the documentation found at at the
bottom of our manuals page

to create software and a cable that can be
used with the interface to control X10
modules.
