Title: Contractor and Affilliate commission difference
Post by: paul on December 07, 2005, 11:55:48 AM
Why do affiliates receive 40% commission on
qualifying X10 products whereas contractors
only get 15% and they have to buy $500.00 at
a time?  Are their prices lower to start with?

Thank you for your interest in X10!

Affiliates are strictly online and utilize
MSRP pricing in most instances in order for
us to support the channel.
Seldom do you see a consumer purchase more
than 1 of any kit at a time from an
affiliate site or banner ad.
This is where our Contractor Program comes
in: you are needed to install these products
and we are here to support your efforts.

Because you offer marketable personalized
service, you can make any commission that
you deem appropriate for your business.
Our 15% discount is to give you - the X10
Contractor - a break on multiple orders,
from several customers for example,
or to keep popular modules on hand for add-
on sales. Beyond the 15% discount, X10
Contractors have the ability to order high
volume for true wholesale pricing - which
maximizes your profit potential!

Here's one possible scenerio: for your
customers who like to order online, give
them a business card with your site address.
They will go to your site and click on our
X10 banner ad. Not only do you get paid for
that purchase, but you then have the
opportunity to install those products as
well.

Our programs work together to help you make
money! Sign up today at x10contractor.com
