Title: Flood Camera (VT38A) Installation
Post by: riverratt on February 26, 2006, 03:37:11 PM
I am setting up a 3 camera system (two floods, 1 b/w).  All the installation instructions show the floods mounted on a level or horizontal position.  The arm from the cameras makes the camera point downward and I see no way to get the camera to install level.  I want to mount the camera on an outside fence but mounting it with the mounting plate provided will make the VT38A point down at an angle and not cover the backyard area that I need covered.  What am I missing here?  If I could get this level, all would be well but I see no way to do that........................ all help will be appreciated.

                                    Thanks

The motion sensor/camera should be mounted on an arm that can be manipulated/positioned between it and the base.

Sonic is correct, the camera is mounted on a ball and socket that is moveable (up, down, left and right). This may be a little tight at first but you should be able to pivot the camera with a little effort.
