Title: Daylight savings update
Post by: admg on April 13, 2006, 08:23:23 PM
Ever since we've changed to EDT (I'm in New York) my interface has not been triggering events correctly.  Everything fires an hour early.  I've searched the forums and the most popular answers are "It updates itself automatically" which mine did not, and "Just plug it in a redownload it" which also did not work.  I have an ActiveHome Pro USB interface.  I've taken the batteries out and unplugged it for a day and redownloaded it.  The only thing I've managed to do so far to correct the problem is turn DST off on my computer in windows, plug the interface in, redownload everything and then unplug the interface before switching my computer back to DST.  I would think that I wouldn't have to go through this every time I make a change, but so far this is the only thing that makes things work correctly.  I have timers based on Dawn/Dusk times and absolute timers and neither work correctly.  I'm using version 3.203.  Please help!

What time zone do you have your computer set for? What city is selected in AHP? If you send your AHX file to me (ahpsupport@x10.com) I can try to duplicate that problem.

Not sure if this helps....

For some, because us humans change our clocks twice a year, near the change times it would appear our lights are coming on differently because the CM15A will make small adjustments every couple days instead of one change twice a year.
I posted a message here Daylight savings! (http://www.x10community.com/forums/index.php?topic=8210.msg51359#msg51359)

or when you downloaded did you download both or just download timers and macros? I guess you made sure hardware settings was downloaded too? :)
