Title: Slimfire Remote: Controls AHP Screen Icon, but Not Module
Post by: sbp on May 21, 2006, 09:32:08 AM
I just received AHP starter kit.  I had to figure out how to program the Slimfire remote for a known working module plugged into a known working outlet.  That done, I turned on AHP, and, when I hit on or off on the remote, the icon on the AHP screen toggled and and off.  BUT, the module did nothing.

If I used my mouse and turned on/off from the screen, the module worked.

I looked at the activity monitor, it shows when I turn switch on/off with the mouse from the screen, it sends a "transmit", but when I try it from the remote, it only shows "receive RF", but no transmit.  What does this mean? Seems to me the controller is getting the command, but not relaying it to the module.

Problem solved.  The instructions don't say anything about checking the settings on Hardware Configuration.  It was defaulted to None.   Checked off Auto, the remote works.
