WS12A is not a two way device. There is no way that the controller can know you turned it on locally....Brian's right. The only way you could do it is if you have a two way switch that transmits the HC when it is used locally. A less than ideal solution would be a "stick on" switch next to the regular switch.
I am trying to create a macro that will turn off a WS12A switch 10 minutes after it was turn on LOCALLY.
Please help me.
Thanks for the quick reply....Some of us don't have a life and monitor this board almost 24/7. ;) There's usually someone around most of the time to help.
...I wanted to workarounf this limitation by creating a timer that is triggered every 10 minutes...Well you could use the approach I recommended here. (http://www.x10community.com/forums/index.php?topic=8768.msg53054#msg53054)
Add a slimeline switch next to WS12A and control the macro...Keep in mind that the "stick on" switch will need to be in range of your CM15A or other transceiver.
