Title: Sending commandline with CM19E
Post by: robin69 on June 13, 2006, 11:37:12 AM
Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to send commandline commands from win XP via the CM19E (usb) to control lights on/off and bright/dim. Does anyone know how to do that and does this require any special software?

Best regards
The Newbie
Robin

You can use the AHP SDK to do this syntax is ahcmd <sendrf ><housecode+unit#><on/off>
You have to specify where the ahcmd.exe file is EG: c:\ahpsdk\ ahcmd SendRF A1 ON
Also do a search on google for firecracker software there are some commandline ones there and they may work with the CM19A ;)

Hi Tuiceman

Thanks for your answer! I asked the same question to the X-10 support and Nathan Nils answered that Activehome doesn't support CM19E(europe). But perhaps the SDK does?

I haven't got the CM19E yet - so I can't try it out right away.....but I will purchase one now if you say it works with the SDK.

Best regards
Robin

Not 100% sure if the SDK will work with the CM19E it works with the CM19A, and it is free to try! ;)
