Title: Question about setting up motion record

Im useing my wireless cam model (XX16A) Do these come setup to record motion say i dont want it to record 24hr a day cause that would take up a ton of space just when someone walks in front of it? Where is this setting at? And I was reading that you could have a active recording but if there isent any motion it will throw away the recording and do it til there is motion. thanks for any help.

seems the software ust have a tmer settng... or if no pc then directions should address this nor look in knowlegfe base or around x10 s8ite.
