Title: Code for Directv Satellite Receiver

All codes in the manual do not seem to work my 5-1 remote from x-10.... for my Directv Satellite Receiver.  Can't seem to find manufacturer of this unit........only says directv model D11

Also tried Hughes Codes (the same as directv)  No Luck...

Any ideas why codes will not work or are there additional codes????

If no one has a code you may want to try the code search method. Yes that can take time and if you do find it. There is a way to read it back so you can write it down. Maybe even share it with us.  ;D

The remote will not work with directv boxes. It is a nice sales pitch to pay extra for the learning remote, but it doesn't learn codes from the directv remote. I tried everything the manuals recommend, but this remote is basically useless for directv. The codes that are published must be for some old models or else someone just wanted us to think it works.
