i have a client to be (i hope so) who has a 70 houses resorts and want a security system for each of them.
there is no phone line nor cell phone in the resort. Is there a other way to get the alarm signal to the guard office ? ???
Help me please !!!

Unless you are the resort owner, you are out of luck. Every commercial security system requires a phone line, either cell or wired. Since this site deals exclusively with equipment manufactured and sold by X10 USA, Inc. this thread will be deleted in one week.

Wow that's what i call support :o
the owner is ready to invest some money in communication for the system. Any Suggestion ?

Standard in-home wireless security equipment (including X-10's) communicates with its console unit via relatively short-range RF. It's hard to believe there's no commercial longer-range RF equipment available to transmit security alerts from the individual console units to a central guard station within a mile or two.
Although there are a few knowledgeable security people who frequent this forum, you'll probably have better luck contacting some of the larger manufacturers or distributors of security equipment like Ademco or ADT.

You may also want to try a more generic Automation Web site like:

Dan Lawrence, no need to delete. Here's a X10 solution.
I am assuming that there is electricity although there are no phones.
You can use a UM506 set to continuous contact and using low voltage wire, run it to an alarm bell also low voltage.
In some cases you can run as much as 1000 feet of low voltage wire. You will have to test this out to find what your max will be. You only need to bury it about 3 inches. Also, do not pull it taunt (tight). leave it loose.
Some of these BELLS are quite large and quite LOUD 8) ;D

This thread WILL NOT be deleted. Hopefully, iV will find your answer usefull. This has to be the strangest topic we've ever had, either on this board or the old forums.

Is kind of a unique problem isn't it?
