Brobin I just opened the site you sent and it says out of stock and don’t know when it will be available.
There are many other with the same name. Could you please check if others are the same. Thank you.

You bought the Broadlink RM4C? You need the Broadlink RM4PRO
I think the C is only IR and does not support RF.

As mentioned above, this is what you need:

Hello everyone
I got broadLink RM4C, today. Spent lot of time trying to connect the app with the device on my iPhone.
Some how it would not work. Then I decided to use iPad and it connected by itself. I did.t have to do any thing.
Now need your help to connect to X10 devices. How do I do that. I don’t see what to connect to. Please help.
Thanks.

Time for a update, since I'm retired I spend most of my time here now.  I still use the rechargeable led bulbs but mostly charge them then use them as a light where no light exists when they die out I replace them with a charged one from a lamp connected to a soft start lamp module.

I still use mostly X10 here. My Broadlink rm pro  and  it's software used from my phone, tablet, or Alexa provide 99% control.
The Cm15A still runs with a pi inside with HomeGenie this can also be control from my phone or tablet.
I also have a WM100 still in use controlable from my phone or tablet.
In the fall added a mini split for some air conditioning on those realy hot days as well as some heat when it isn't cool enough to have the furnace running. This wasn't controlable with Alexa out of the box but the Broadlink Rm Pro was able to capture the IR signals so I can control the features I want of it from the app or Alexa. As well I picked up a newer Alexa dot 4th gen I believe with motion sensor and temperature built-in

I also added led grow lights in the basement to a x10 appliance  module and put them  on a timer in the Broadlink app. For those ice dams that use to happen on the north side of the building I added a long ice melting cable and plugged it into an x10 outlet so I can turn it on/off when needed. I do this when the sun is shining bright and only for a few hours at a time which does the trick. I have the module programed into the broadlink thus making it Alexa controlable but have yet to use her to control this ::) :'

My solar trackers started to fail so I moved to RF motor controls from Amazon I used the Broadlink software to learn the RF codes and created timers to turn my arrays during the day and return to the home position in the evening.
My x10 setup hasn't grown much any more here but my overall automation setup has >!

Yes, exactly. Think of as an Alexa enabled Palm Pad or learning remote.  In the Broadlink app you learn the X10 codes and name them whatever you want Alexa to control. Set up is quick & easy.

If Smartenit comes back up tomorrow or over the weekend I'll stick with it for now.

If the company has closed and our Harmony's become doorstops, there IS an easy & relatively cheap ($35) alternative that I already have working.  The Broadlink RM4 Pro at the link below supports X10 RF codes. The RM4 Pro is essentially a learning remote with an Alexa Skill.
The RM4 Pro will learn RF codes from an HR12A which can be triggered by Alexa commands.  I use a CM15A as a multi-housecode receiver which sends X10 just like the Harmony.

Okay, bear with me here...I'm not the brightest with tech...So, if I get the RM4 Pro, I can teach it X-10 addresses with an HR12A, then with the Alexa skill for Broadlink, it will then receive commands from Alexa and transmit RF to my CM15A which will then send the command over the powerline as if I was using the palm pad controller?

Thus, this would be an RF version of the Smartenit sending command to the Insteon PLM via USB and commands going out over the powerline?

Thanks for clarifying for the dummy  >!
