Hello all, I have been thinking of buying AHP.  My question is this, does the computer have to stay on constantly for this system to work.

Not always.  If you upload macros to the interface, they can be triggered by desktop controllers or X10 remote controls. If the macros are PC based (an option) the PC has to be running.   All timers are uploaded to the interface.  The PC does not have to be on for timers to run.

Thanks for the quick response Dan.  One more question, Can macros initiated by the motion detector run without the pc being on as well?

Macros can be initiated by the motion detectors with out the pc running!
However if you decide to upgrade AHP with all the plugins the PC will have to be running with the Cm15A conected to it inorder for all the options to work!
The only plugin that doesn't need the pc connected is the SmartMacros plugin

Thanks for the answers guys.  I will repost when I receive my products. After reading these posts I am sure I will need some help, but I cant resist buying because of the potential.
