Existing X10 Installation PLC Not Reaching All New Addition Rooms

I have an old (maybe the original) X-10 controller with 3 lamp modules that worked fine until we added several new rooms to the house. Now there is a preferential location for the controller and modules depending in what section/room of the house they are installed. Some rooms in the old house have original, non-grounded- wiring; others have grounded outlets as do all of the new rooms. For example, the controller located in one of the new rooms successfully operates modules in another new room and some of the old rooms but not in other old rooms; the same situation results when the controller is located in an old, non-grounded, room. Is there any fix to this?

esevin: X10 signals do not require ground wire, so that will not be your problem. Most likely you have a phase / noise / signal sucker issue.

Check out the following posts:

Also do an Advanced Search on phase / line noise / signal sucker.
