Hi,
Have two problems.  One is when I go to make changes to "Active Home", and it is connected with usb to computer, the computer says it does not recognize the hardware.  It has recognized it for the previous 9 months.  Any suggestions on getting it to work, so I can make changes to the system?
Also, I have a socket rocket, in the overhead, and the bulb blew.  I replaced it, but, can only control it:  on/off with the wall switch.  How do I get it to work with "Active Home" again?

Thank you so much.  Bit of a "Dummy"  with this stuff...but, have enjoyed the remote workings of "Active Home".

To Get Windows to recognize the CM15A, unplug the USB cable from it unplug it from the outlet and take the batteries out. Wait about 2 minutes, replace the batteries and plug it back to the outlet and plug the USB cable back in it.

You should hear Windows tell you it has recognizied it.

As for the Socket Rocket, if the traic is blown (blown light bulbs will sometimes blow the traic, which renders it useless), which doesn't seem to be the your case, since you can address it from the wall switch (which I presume is not X10. If it is, you don't need the Socket Rocket.) 

Once the interface is recognized, if AHP still won't control it, delete it and create it again. It's one of the modules AHP knows.

BTW, since Socket Rockets don't dim, you can use CFLs in them.

Wall switch? Is the overhead controlled by a standard wall switch normally left ON so the Socket Rocket is in control of the light?
If that is the setup and if the lamps is always On when the wall switch is On and AHP will not turn it Off. The Socket Rocket is indeed blown out and the triac is shorted.
