Does anyone know how long the cable can be on the wired x10 ? I know it comes with a 60' cord but can it be longer (signal loss with too much length ?) I'm looking at about a 100' length from the outside yard to where I have the system located in the house. Any input would be aprreciated
thanks

You should have no problem at 100 feet. I have extended some of my cameras beyond the 60 feet with no loss of signal quality.

Take a look at this thread: Extend wire on hard wired camera

I have also extended the length of cable to my wired cameras with no adverse affects.

I have 1 Anaconda cam that I added 100 feet to it and it works great. I used the flat 6 conductor phone cable to extend it.

Two hundred feet with no problem.

I know I have read somewhere that X10 cameras have been extended 1000 feet using CAT5.
