Macro sending emails: Works if clicked, but not if triggered by module

For a while, when triggered by a motion detector, AHP sent an email with no problems.  Sometimes it would stop for short periods, but seemed to start again within a few hours.  Now it does not work at all unless I click on the macro on screen.  I admit, I have deleted and recreated the macros several times, but have cleared the interface, rebooted--everything I can think of to clear out any residual stuff.  Now, motion detectors will trigger other modules, but the emails are not sent.  HELP!
