I have two sets of 3 under cabinet Portfolio Halogen lights.. Each set is plugged into a SR227 module. They were working fine for a few months but lately I've been having issues..

When I try to turn them on via the remote the lights flicker on and off about 3 times and the module clicks really fast a few times. The majority of the time the lights don't come on.. I then try to turn them on again with the same result. Eventually one set or sometimes both turn on but almost NEVER on the first try...

Anyone know why they would work fine for a few months and then stop working pretty much all of a sudden?

I appreciate the help..

Try one with another load. Like a table lamp.
The SR227 may stutter when the ratchet actuator starts wearing out. By trying a different type load. We can see if the load or the receptacle is the problem.

Ok. I plugged a lamp into one of the outlets. I did a test.. I turned the outlets on and off 10 times. Here are the results:

Test 1
Outlet A = Lamp
Outlet B = Halogen

Lamp turned on 10 out of 10 times and "triple clicked" 3 of those times
Halogen lights turned on 0 out of 10 times

Test 2
Outlet A = Halogen
Outlet B = Lamp

Halogen lights turned on 10 out of 10 times.
Lamp turned on 5 out of 10 times and "triple clicked" 9 out of the 10 tries.

Thanks for the help!

Sounds like both maybe failing. The triple click is the outlet trying to turn on. It senses if it is on and if not reties again.
B looks like it is more sensitive.
Since this sounds more like a trouble shooting problem we may get more help in a Troubleshooting Area and I will move the thread.
Maybe more users will have a better way to help you.
