How to trouble shoot two different lights turning on randomly

I have two switches that control two different lights.  They are both on the same house code but different code numbers.  Both will at different times randomly turn on. 

What is the best way to trouble shoot this?

tscholl: Welcome to the forum.

The best way... get an ELK Signal Meter. Unless in your setup there is something sending an X10 signal to turn on your lights, then you have a noise source somewhere.

Check out TakeTheActive's MAP / MEASURE / CORRECT post.

Or you can take the long tedious method of unplugging things and waiting XX hours to see if the lights stop coming on. More than likely, you have a PC, TV or another electronic appliance on the same or on a near circuit as the lights.

Looks like the problem is being caused by the computer!! 

Seems that it is putting a lot of noise on the circuit. 

I am going to try a AF120 filter, found one for 19.95 + shipping.

Every PC in the house (if you have more than one) needs one. PC's are notorious for blocking X10 signals.
