RCA HC50RX Tranceiver Module Compatibility
« on: July 11, 2007, 04:57:22 PM »

I have a RCA HC50RX Tranceiver Module and a X10 EagleEye MS14A Motion Sensor.  My question is:  Are they compatible and if so how do I get them to talk to each other?

Thanks...

Yes they can be used together. First if you want the MS14A to control it. Set it to a house code of choice and pick Unit 1 or 9; if the HC50RX has a 1-9 switch on it. I did see apost saying it was 1 only but have no direct data on that.
Set the House Code dial on the HC50RX to the same house code. Motion will then turn it on and off and also send the on off signal over the powr line to other modules on the same address.

Thanks Brian.  I will give that a try.
