I just installed my first Flood Cam and it
works great. The motion sensor works much
better than expected. I have 4 other cameras
as well. My only concern is that I want the
Robo wide eye cam to be the master, but the
flood cam shuts off the other cameras when
it detects motion. I may switch out the
floodcam for the regular motion floodlight
so that I can use the robocam as the master.
I am having fun playing right now!! I do not
know what all of the complaints on here are.
This stuff actually works.

Most cameras work in groups of 4. House Code
plus Unit Code. Unit Codes are in 4s. 1-4;5-
8;9-12 and 13-16. If the floodcam is not in
the same group as the others it will not
turn them off. But as you guessed two
cameras on at the same time will scramble
the signals from both of them.

Well I am going to have to DISAGREE. I have
4 floodcams and none of them send signals
back to the box to start the macros. remote
works, pc interface works but the motion
trigger will turn the cam on but wont
trigger the code to start recording. Anyone
know about this ??

Hey storm, how many feet out will the motion
sensor reliably pick up on say, a 5ft 140lb
person? Is your cam mounted outside? under a
overhang? Do you have fogging/moisture on
the lens problems? I live in rainy/humid
canada. Thamks

Hi Storm,
Are you still working for X10, or did you quit as well? ;)

Hi maybe you can give me a hand, I got one of those floodcams to and I have a question my works great except I've noticed that if triggered it takes about 45 seconds for it to cycle on again, for example if I walk in front of it and it comes on after it shuts off if you walk in it's path again the light and camera won't come on again for about a minute with the other x10 floods I have without the camera there's no lag just wondering if yours works the same way or if I got a defective one. From what I've read concerning the flood cams I was told I was luckily it worked at all. Thanks
