device code request

I received the icon remote the other day and so far I like it.  However I am tempted to return it as it doesn't have codes for my Marantz SR7000  Home theater receiver and my RJ TECH 1500IIMX DVD player.  Since the icon remote  is a re-branded philips, I would assume that most philips family devices should work. 

Are there any firmware upgrades for the icon remote?

The Icon Remote is capable of having the drivers updated Via a min USB port in the battery compartment!
However x10 has yet to make this port usable for the end user!
When and if that happens the end user should be able to upload new codes as well as new icons!
This would truly make it the only remote you'd ever need!
In the mean time why not use the learn function to program for the devices that the the unit doesn't have the codes for?
The remote will not lose the learned codes when the batteries are removed, one really great feature!
