Dave_x10_L: I think you're right, especially about the forums. The number of posts on these forums is a small percentage of the number of calls X10 gets a day for technical support, and that's not taking into account that the active posters (probably less than 100 people as a guess) account for a significant part of that. And, if you look at the stats on the forum here we're still at under 9000 registered members. Just from sales during the time I was at X10 there have to be at least a couple million people who own X10 products around.

Phone calls are a little different I think. I don't know about the current state of things at X10, but when I was last there the number of people who called for technical support was less than the number of people ordering in a day. I do think most people who buy from X10 calls at least once when they first buy, and might call when they purchase more.
