AHPro Using Com port vrs USB
« on: August 18, 2007, 01:00:28 AM »

I have a CM15A. Windows 2000 pro SP4.
Active Home worked fine. Then I had to relpace my Motherboard and also lost a HDD.
Now I downloaded AHPro 1.42. when I install it, It wants to setup the CM15A on a com port instead of a USB port.
What am I doing wrong?
Before my MB died it worked fine, However I was running an older version of AH. I think it was 1.32, which I cannot find.
The Old MB didn't even have a "on board USB port" , It was an Add-On Card.

ActiveHome 1.42 is software for the CM11A and will not work with the CM15A.  You'll have to telephone X-10 to  get the installer for ActiveHome Pro for your CM15A.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.
