Floodcam issues has tech support baffled
« on: January 25, 2006, 11:23:13 PM »

has anyone ever seen this;
I have one floodcam hooked up to
activehome/Iwitness and i can turn the cam
on/off from the pc or the remote. i can
create a macro that will record BUT ONLY
WHEN I PUSH THE RUN MACRO BUTTON OR THE
REMOTE BUTTOM TO TRIGGER THE CODE. it will
not auto record from from the trigger of
the motion sensor. the cam turns on the
lights come on, the viewwer screen starts
on the PC and you can see the live video
screen but IT WILL NOT TRIGGER THE
MACRO ??? WTF.. the activity monitor has
all events accepts for when the floodcam
comes on, it shows the remote on/off the pc
on/off. it even shows the macro on/offs.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY MY CAM IS
NOT TRIGGERING THE MACRO BUT IS WORKING FOR
EVERYTHING ELSE. i HAVE TRIED THREE DIFF.
CAMS AND I HAVE MOVED THE WHOLE SET UP OUT
TO THE GARAGE WITHIN 15FT OF THE CAM.
PLEASE HELP... 408-979-0788

I have a similar problem, my floodcams will activate using the remote but will not activate with motion.  I have the VCR commander and the beeps go off but no video.
Please , if you find out anything to correct the problem please let me know
