Vanguard and WS467
« on: January 10, 2008, 03:48:28 PM »

I recently augmented my system with 2 wall switches and a lamp model.  The first of the wall switches installed and via the remote control or the physical button turned on/off without a problem.  The second wall switch only turns on/off via the physical button.  In addition, one (or both) of the switches has now created an interference problem within Vanguard which manifests itself as a white line of static that travels down any live-video coming in from 3 out of the 4 cameras.

Oddly, the camera that is closest to the 2nd wall switch I install has no interference in the video stream, and the two farthest away have the worse interference.

Additionally, Vanguard, with motion detection turned on and set to turn on the lights now controlled by the wall switches and lamp module, fail to turn on any lights.

Ideas?

Don't bother with ideas there tech support... or at least not for me.

I'm sending all my crap back... too much time spent on something that purportedly "is up in 20 minutes"... after spending about 40 hours trying my best.
