Wall switch module not working with mini-timer
« on: January 02, 2008, 09:39:21 PM »

Hello,

I am fairly new to X-10 and I'm in the process of learning how to set-up the devices in my home. One problem that I'm having is with a wall switch module (WS467). The WS467 is connected to one receptacle that controls two 60 watt incandescent lamps. I'm trying to program it with my mini-timer, but I can't get it to turn on/off with the button on the timer. The unit code is currently set to 2.

The WS467 works fine with a universal remote control, so I know that it responds to commands, but the buttons on the mini-timer won't control it? Any suggestions?

Thanks

is your mini timer and universal remote receiver plugged in at the same location?  if not, try changing the location of the mini timer. you might want to look around in the forums under the topics of: phase issues, line noise, mapping circuits.
if moving the mini timer doesn't help, post back and we'll (your fellow x10-ers) will be glad to help.

Remote control is cool,

but automation rules!
