I have found a problem ........If set my Timer default time to 30 secs and then use it in a macro the time will stay at 30 secs even if I change it to 0 sec...confused yet!

When I use a timer it shows up automatically at 30 secs

turn on A3
wait 30sec
turn off A3
Then the Macro shows an over all time at 30sec

If I change it to

turn on A3
wait 0 sec
turn off A3
the macro still shows 30 sec of over all time

The only way to get it to work right is set the timer default to 0 sec then add to it if needed. Anyone else notice it... I updated AHP but I really never noticed if it done it before or not!

Just to cover the basics... You did download the changes, right?

Yes downloaded and all. Even reset the cm15a and rebooted AHP.

How are you triggering the macro? A motion sensor by any chance?

It doesn't matter how the macro is triggered it always does the same thing.

I have one macro triggered by a house codes and another triggered by a door/window sensor.

The timer is just remembering the default preset value even if I adjust. I have a work around but was just wondering if anyone else has the same problem?

Try changing the A3 Off to G3 Off, and see in the Activity Monitor if G3 Off is sent immediately after A3 On or 30 seconds later.

I am wondering if there is something else which is causing the A3 Off.
* Sears Home Control System, Radio Shack Plug 'n Power, NuTone, Stanley LightMaker, BSR, HomeLink.
* Tecmar Device Master, CP290 (LightHouse), CM11A (AH), CM14A (AH2), CM15A (AHPro).

I had the idea that, if a motion detector were involved, it's internal timer might be sending a signal.

It didn't change anything by making it g3 and I don't use motion sensor by one macro does use a door/window sensor cause at first I was thinking it was the delay time the sensor itself uses but I changed the macro to use another kinda of trigger and still the same.
.
If you are looking at the Macro screen the line (yellow/orange) that is draw between each of the boxes in the Macro.... if you follow it all the way down to the end of the macro it will show the total time it should take. AHP default timer is set to 5 min. So if I place 2 timers anywhere in the macro the over all time should say 10 min. If I change those 2 timers to 0 sec and look at the over all time it still reads 10 min.

Now the funny thing is if I change the timer to 10 min each ,the over all time will change to 20 min.
I think its a bug in AHP that's why I asked if anyone else noticed it... but sounds like not. Thanks for your help and maybe I will try to just reload the software and see if it helps
