Dimming problems on 1 switch
« on: January 16, 2008, 11:58:07 PM »

Hi everyone, my first post.  I value your opinions so much.  I've spent all day reading and have learned so much ...  much more help than stupid tech support!

Anyway, one of my switches doesn't dim, even after replacing with 3 different switches.  The remote turns it on and off, and will actually dim, however my other switches will dim from the switch and also remembers in it's memory where the level was.

Any ideas or thoughts??

Is it possible I have some old switches, that I bought from some guy off of ebay, that don't have the "soft start" feature everyone is talking about with the lamp modules?  Some of you older users would know this.

Could be as we have seen mixed features between older and new.
Date Code may or may not help as I have a later date code lamp module with no soft start than someone who has soft start.
