sentinal true pan and tilt degrees

hi people, i am a greenhorn , and this is my first post and have a question for anyone out there
the sentinal cam info states i believe a pan of around 320 degrees,  on the comparison chart against other cams it shows the sentinal around 280  degrees roughly, is this because of the dome ? thanks
