Yes - and that's why I have one (and another on order). They are RF repeaters and repeat the Security devices' signals (in addition to all 256 HC/UCs). But there's good & bad - you sometimes get multiple signals - however I haven't had a problem and I think it's because if the repeats happen within a short period of time the system ignores them. At least I haven't had a problem - yet. Supposedly, when you have more than 1 (and up to 4), if you use different, but adjacent HCs, the SR731 is "smart" enough to not confuse things - but how - I don't have a clue.
