This is a summary of the bug I have uncovered.  A reference to the topic where I figured this out is included below.

You want to run a limb of a macro only if a certain flag condition is met AND it is nighttime.  AHP software programs "nighttime" as "after dusk" OR "before dawn".  The problem is you can't combine the conditions this way!  (FLAG is ON) AND (after dusk) OR (before dawn) will run even if the flag is OFF as long as it is before dawn.

If I understand the limits of combining conditions properly, there is no way you can do "AND nighttime" in one limb of a conditional macro.
