So the x10 lamp controller next to my spot on the couch quit turning on the lamp it was connected to.
After digging behind the couch to retrieve it so I could cycle power to it and re-address it while I was back there. It still did not work.
I went and got another remote from the basement. On my way downstairs  I surmised that maybe my TM751 was hung but the remote in the basement turned on the devices there so up the stairs I went with the 2ond remote. I tried that. No go. So I went into the bedroom to see if I could control those lights. I could.

The bulb was bad
Long live X10! - Because I just like it is all.....

You are not alone. I have done similar things myself. :'

Ooooooooo.  That's a tad worse than troubleshooting a new macro for a couple of hours - only to find it doesn't work if you don't upload/save it.

bitman,

GREAT STORY! We all laughed because we have all done it.

Thanks for sharing.
Now I have to ask.
