Pro vs. Residental version
« on: September 04, 2008, 08:42:45 PM »

I am trying to install a three-way dimmer for the lights.  I mistakenly installed the residential switch for the master (WS12A) and the pro version for the slave (XPSS).  Obviously it is not working correctly.  My question is: which version is better - Pro or residential?  Should I replace the master with the XPD3 or replace the slave with WS14A.  The WS12A feels a bit flimsy; is the pro version more solid?

Thanks

The Pro line of X10 equipment is identical to what X10USA sells, just different part numbers and the Pro line is more rigorously tested.

Have not checked lately. The X10Pro line use to have a two year standard warranty also.
