What do "X10 address, Module Control and Appliance control" located under advanced functions do?
I searched the forum, but was unable to find any info.
If there is a link or tutorial about this, could someone please post it.
Thank You
X10 Address: Outputs an "Address only" on the power line. Normal modules output an address followed by a command (i.e. send A1, send A On). The address function puts only the address on the PLC (i.e. Send A1). This can be useful for certain unit programming functions.
Module Control/Appliance Control Allows you to output dim/bright (module) or on/off (appliance) commands without having a module defined at that address within AHP. Essentially, you could send bright/dim commands to a Lamp Module at A1 without having the module defined.
Steven_R investigated the Module Control some time ago. At that time there was a bug in this control function that caused erratic operation.
Here's the thread:
Calling a Macro from a Macro.
I honestly can't remember whether the "module control" exhibited the same problem.
