When using a UM506 in momentary mode, how do you handle the discrepancy between the on-screen on/off status of this module and the fact that it's pretty much always off. Do you just ignore it or is there a setting in the software for the momentary mode that will just briefly toggle the on-screen status?
You could just ignore status. Then.. maybe use the notepad function to "leave yourself a note" or remind yourself of that. Or..
you could use a chime module in AHP (which would show status more correctly)
and [maybe]
name it UM506. Once again using the note function to explain (remind yourself later) as to what you've done. Or..
you could write in a [harmless] "off or on" into the macro.. so status would also show correctly.
Also, I have a few UM506s that have a "default" state of "on" (in continuous mode). Is there a way in AHP to set the default state of a module when you first run the program (after a reboot for example)?
If the correct status of a module is important....
you could use a monitored code. However... you only get one house code (16) of those units. The monitored codes are "remembered" in the interface. Or... you could use the default (cleared) state of flags...
I believe.

about flags.
