Will a GFI outlet affect the performance of a LM465 Lamp Module?

I can get AHP to turn it on, but won't dim it and won't turn it off. But if I use a remote (Using a SH624) it will turn off and on and will dim.......

Some do, some don't.  If you think the GFCI is giving you problems, it probably is

I bought some for the cottage that you could actually hear the noise! ( I quickly replaced those even before installing X10 there)
I have some for my outside watergarden that I have no issues with!

What is tranceiving the SH624, the CM15A or a security console? If you are using the CM15A to also tranceive the SH624 signal, then GFI is not the problem. Is the Lamp Module plugged into the GFI?  If so, move it to same outlet as CM15A and see if it works. GFIs when they cause problems usually act as a filter for the X10 signal, the signal can't get through the GFI. Is GFI a breaker?

One thing you said, does not sound like a GFI, AHP turns ON the Lamp Module but can not DIM or turn OFF. Usually A GFI problem is absolute...nothing happens, nothing gets through.

If the Lamp Module has Soft Start that is now shipping. Try calling the lamp Module a LM14A in AHP.

Whatever you do, don't put a power horn on a GFi circuit, it will trip whenever the siren is activated (I lost a freeezer of food in my garage doing that once lol)

Well for the life of me I can't figure it out.. The LM465 use to work in this outlet and now for some reason it don't.  I tried different Modules to see if maybe I had a bad one... NO LUCK ! I even changed the receptacle ( to a regular one) to see if that would help.. NO LUCK

Are you trying to control a compact fluorescent light, or do you have one on the same circuit?  If so, noise may be the problem.  Noise could also be the problem if you have any electronic devices with a switching power supply on the same circuit.  Have you seen the troubleshooting series I wrote:

In particular, the ones on noise generators, compact fluorescent lights, and the Cellet cellphone charger may help.

Try pluging the semi-working module into an outlet on a different circuit.  If it works without a problem then you know that something on the GFI outlet circuit is causing interference.  If it still doesn't work properly then you know that their is either a problem with the module, a setting, or something is causing interference on multiple circuits.

Problem has been solved......  It turned out to be a phase issue.
