mt12A and AHP 3.228
« on: April 19, 2009, 01:03:01 PM »

I have used x10 products for years and have had all of the normal phase coupling problems. I have a couple of questions:

I have stopped using the AHP program for a couple of reasons including lights going off and on at unscheduled times. I have a phase coupler installed behind my dryer. My AHP using the CM15a will send an off/on  signal to all my lights, etc that I control, however it does not send the off/on signals that go at a preset time. I have noticed that the antennae was a little loose. Could this cause the problem? I have several transceivers located strategically throughout the house and these must be correctly placed to get full coverage  of the house. Any thoughts??

To get back to basics, I hooked up a MT12A and disconnected AHP. I get coverage of most of my house but have to locate a couple of transceivers to get it completely covered. I should not have to do this with the coupler. I want to control seven lights. Five are in the same phase. I can't use code 1 because that triggers my robo dog. For some reason that I can't remember, I have avoided using code 2. Now, here is the interesting thing, when I turn on the light with code 2, it starts to blink!! Any ideas?
