I have had this unit for a while, but have moved and setting it up again with some more sensors.

I have no trouble recongnizing the first 7 devices - but the 8th one does not get accepted - (no beep and light does not come on).

I have taken out the battery and started from scratch, but still only get the first 7 zones setup and the 8th wont accept.

Sounds like your 8th zone device has the same security code as one of your first 7. Try reseting the security code of the 8th device.
