My replacement XPCR isn't entirely dead - the test button on a PSC01 in close proximity manages to be heard.  But the XPCR doesn't hear the CM11A. I turned off every breaker except those required for troubleshooting.  My outside lights on a wire-in lamp module, different circuit, at the end of a long run manage to hear the CM11A.  Maybe the XPCR's squelch level was set too high at the factory.

Could it be the CM11A (which is 1990's technology) is unable to communicate with the XPCR?  I'm not sure but I suspect the XPCR is built for the CM15A.  Perhaps Norm or other know when X10 first issued the XPCR.

A standard X10 power line signal should be the same from a old CP290 as a CM15A or CM11A sends.

I used XPCR and Leviton repeaters back in early '90s and it was used with Enerlogic 1400, and CM11A. I am sure XPCR firmware has been upgraded but X10 protocol and timing hasn't.
