Ok..... We finally have everything moved in and in the process of putting it all away...

  Which means I' in the process of hooking all my X10 stuff back up. Everything is pretty much the same as it was in the old house (for now). Did add a few WS467 that I didn't have before, but that's about it... The problem I'm having is controlling my modules with a remote, Have tried Slim Line SS13A and HR12A. They will work a few of the modules in the house, basically all the ones in the Chin Room which is in the basement. But they won't work in the living room, bedrooms or kitchen which is only 8ft. from the computer and the CM15A. AHP is receiving the signal from the remote and it flips the switch on (in AHP) but it won't turn the lights on. The switch goes up, but the "Power Bar" don't. I have a Smarthome Phase Coupler hooked up on the dryer, a modified CM15A (with the funny upside down antenna). If I control the lights from AHP itself they work just fine, On/Off and dim. And all macros work that I have installed so far.

   Is this a RF issue or PLC issue? I have even tried moving the antennas around, still NO luck!! This is an older house and they have the wiring all jacked up. Some old and some new with "junction boxes all over the place. Could this be the issue? But like I said they all work if I use AHP and Macros.....

  Any ideas?

Kramer, since you can use AHP and everything works I would guess that it would be rf.  Have tried the remote and looked at the activity monitor to see what it's actually receiving?  See if it actually receiving the rf.  Hope you figure it out.  I'm sure you will.

Although FR is your likely culprit.
It wouldn't hurt to check your electrical panel.

Typically you will not have 3phase capabilities on residential properties.
But one never knows.

My home was built by the person I bought it from & his pals.
Although it is the typical single phase, 240VAC and is "center-tapped" to provide 2, 120 Volt halves. I have come across some interesting wire runs. As a matter of fact I still have a wall switch that is live and I have no idea where it goes. I gave up trying to find it as I am not about to ......    Aawww, I quit !

Here's what I get.. I done this little test this morning to see what I was getting...

Both of these modules are in the Kitchen. K1 is a Lamp Module with the sink light plugged into it and L3 is Wall Switch (WS467). Both are receiving the RF signal from the remote, but only the lamp module will respond. I know they are on different breakers, but are in the same room only 5ft. apart.......

I have seen reports of some housing development being wired three phase. Each home isn't using all three phases. Each get fed from two of the three Lines.
The bigest clue would be 120 volts Line to Neutral but closer to 208 Volts Line to Line.
X10 protocol usually send the signals at Zero Crossing and twice more that match what would be the Zero Crossing for the other phases. Other brands may not.

Anyway you can swap lines at the breaker panel?  See if both of these are on the same phase.  If not maybe you can swap lines around from one phase to the other.  This is a relative easy fix but if you add anything later your still probably going to have problems until you find out what is causing this.

Kramer.  I hate moving too!  I feel for you!  You might have to start from scratch and remap all your lines to see what everything in on.   

I wish that they would have wiring my house by room but that is not the case, my wiring is all messed up. I ended up going to the panel and swapping lines around.  Just make sure it's the same amp breaker and you should be fine. If your not comfortable switching lines then leave them alone and call someone.

Yeah anything past changing a breaker I haven't messed with. Too many things could go wrong !!!

You need to see if you have 3 120v lines coming into the breaker panel.  Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Well I have it figured out !!!

After a day of  and a few post, I made my mind up I was going to take it all down and start over instead of using the set up I had in the old house.... Well on my way through the house mumbling a few choice words (not able to put on here) fixing to start from scratch, I  noticed something..... Someone had unplugged my RR501 and it was laying behind the couch. So after a few more choice words, it seems one of the kids had unplugged it so they could plug in their PSP and play it....  *#@% Kids !!!!!

   Well plugged it back in and  >!everyting seems to be working... Man if I had paid for an electriction to come out or something and then found this I would be HOT!!!!! So needless to say the boys heard a few more choice words and dared them to unplug anything ever again.........

Yeah... 3 phase isn't used in residential areas. It is only used in certain commercial operatons. Some small manufacturing (to include sewing shops) and refrigeration units (food production sized freezers). I think you'd have a minimum sized service panel of around 5,000 amp (instead of the normal LARGE 200 amp household panel). The 3 phase transformers really are way too big to be mounted on a pole... so they are positioned close to the facility that will use them.. on a concrete slab.

Your new home... may cause you to have a new setup... wether you want to or not. I was mildly surprised to read your using a RR501. I would guess... it is transceiving a house code for you. But I would have also have guessed your using more than one code.
