Hi. I have a CM15A with AHP that I've been using for about 2 years. The other day, it stopped responding to my palm-pads, and when I went to check it out, it was hot to the touch! I have since restored its functionality (remove batteries, replace), but it still gets hot when plugged in. The input transformer draws about 6W, and the output side is running about .1W, so I'm burning about 5.9W in the input transformer (which is the component producing all the heat).
Three questions:
1) Has anyone had this happen before?
2) Does this sound unsafe to anyone? The label says 6W on it, but this thing is hot to the touch!
3) Is it possible to order a replacement CM15A without buying the software again?
