Are you using the ELK-9100's repeater function?

Do you know how much current the TV draws?
If it is close to five amps. I would stay away from the X10Pro XPPF.

The inexpensive X10 XPPF is a very good filter if you stay well below its 5A rating.  It should work fine powering a TV.

This is the reply from ELK:
Good afternoon Jim,

The ELK-9100 incorporated “Signal Bridging” and could repeat the X10 Signal but didn’t boost the Signal strength. I would suggest trying a simple X10 Filter on the TV to see if it resolves the problem.

Thank you,

I'll check the current draw on the TV

Thanks guys

I find the ELK statement contradicts their Owners Manual.

It says it retransmits on both phases at 5 Volts PP. Sounds like a boost in signal to me.
It also said it can not handle the Leviton 6325 Telephone Transponder due to nonstandard line signal it used.

Forgive me if my statement on the XPPF was not 100% clear. It is a fine filter as Jeff said. Just don't get too close to its five amp rating.
Smarthome makes a five and ten amp filter and ACT makes a fifteen amp filter.
