How do I set up my wireless cameras
« on: May 02, 2010, 08:10:55 PM »

What I have.

1-Wirless Video Transceiver (Tag is missing) Smaller than the WVR36
1-WVR36 Wireless Audio/Video Receiver
2-XM16A Wall wart with 2-XC22A Camera
1-XM13A Wall Wart with 1-WXC15 Color Camera
2-XM13A Wall Wart with XC18A Color Camera
1-WXM15 Wall Wart with XC18A Color Camera
1-UX21A House VCR Controller
2-CM19A Transceiver
2-VA11A Video to USB Adapter
1-CR12A Camera Control System Remote Control
2-TM751 RF Transceiver Module
1-LM15A Remote Control Lamp Module
2-CM17A Fire Cracker (replaced with CM19A)
Vanguard
Fire Cracker

I have had some of this equipment for 6 years and some for about 4 years. I have never been able to get it to work, other than the lamp module and one camera with poor reception.

What I would like to do for now is hook up one wireless camera in the baby’s room and view it on my wireless laptop. Can someone tell me what camera, receiver, transceiver, and software I need to get this up and going?
The house is 1800 sf open floor plan with vaulted cielings. It is about 30 ft from the crib to the laptop location. I run XP sp3. The computer is only a year old, so I know the processor is fine. 1G of memory.
I hate to fork out any more money as I have about $600.00 in this equipment already.
