I live in Mass. and would like to put have a motion sensor that turns on my porch light when someone approaches.  I have a system set up with the MS14a EagleEye motion detector which is an indoor/outdoor model.  When the temps get into the 20's it stops working.  Does anyone know how cold they are suppose to work.  Is it just my one unit that malfunctions when cold or do they all quit?

I live in eastern pa, have five active eye sensors. Three work all the time, one works 75% of the time, and one that gets damp, and will not work most of the time. It was 12 degrees this morning. I don't think there is much difference in the sensors except for dusk, dawn on/off option.

wgeorge have you tried lithium batteries? They are more cold tolerant! ;)

Thanks for the help.  I'll try the lithium batteries.

I tried the lithium batteries and they didn't work.  I'm sending the units back under warranty--I have two that don't work.
