X10 Camera No Longer works

Use 3 X10 cameras with CR12a remote. All of a sudden my # 1 camera can not be turned on. 2 & 3 are working ok. I did change the batteries in the remote so they are fresh. Also the Off function does not work from the remote?

Try changing the address of camera 2 or 3 to 1 and see if they can be controlled. That will see if the CR12A is functioning on camera 1s address.
You may also want to test camera 1 on 2 or 3. If it doesn't work on any of the addresses. Its power supply maybe defective.

My guess would be a new noise generator or signal sucker on the power line, since that's where the camera power supply gets its on / off signal from.

When testing should all cameraa be unplug and then set each camera to 1 to try out?

You don't have to.  Just make sure each has a different address.
