Does anybody know of any projects doing this?

I saw this hack and it inspired me:

I was thinking the circuit and the programming of the ATtiny are easy enough, but what about a power source and an x10 module?

Is there an x10 module that could control a servo? I know servos go to different angles based on pulse width modulation. Could a dimming lamp module output be converted to PWM somehow? hmmmmm

EDIT: Ahh, I could use a cheap arduino or build my own augmented AVR microcontroller and use a 2-way controller:
