Other sensors with pro2000 or monitor plus system

Does anyone know if it is possible to use other window/door sensors besides the x10 brand with the pro2000 or monitor plus alarm systems. I have been using the GE Simon 3 alarm for years and was wondering if it is possible to use the GE sensors with the x10 panels.

If you're talking about wireless sensors, I seriously doubt it.

I work for an alarm company, and from my experience, most manufacturers of wireless alarm sensors use their own proprietary wireless protocols.

If you have wired sensors, you may be able to adapt a DS10A to talk for them.

I can't state for an absolute fact that it GE wireless sensors won't trigger the X10 pro2000 or monitor plus systems, but I would be highly surprised if they do!

Thanks Bill I was hoping for another solution to the wireless x10 sensors. I know I will have no problems selling the product with the exception of the door/window sensors. (just for the look of them) I have hardwired generic door sensors to the x10 dialers and have had them work before. Anyway thank again see you in the chat
